Will spent three years overseeing a portfolio of approximately 85 vacation properties across New Hampshire’s Lakes Region for a national vacation rental management company, working through the day-to-day realities of pricing and revenue strategy, turnovers, maintenance, guest communication, marketing, and property-level oversight. Managing that many homes side by side made something clear. Comparable properties in the same market routinely produce very different results, and the difference is usually operational rather than structural. Will developed a detailed understanding of what drives a successful short-term rental and, just as importantly, what can quietly hinder one.
